I don’t leave reviews regularly but I had to this time. I thought I’d try a small business since I’ve had carpets and upholstery done in the past by a big chain that was honestly pointless. Didn’t clean anything. Found KG with a google search and was hoping for that small business care and I’m so glad I was right! KG cleaned my elderly in laws carpet (which once furniture was moved needed A LOT of love). He was nice enough to work with us and schedule the cleaning a bit later than usual to accommodate us. He spent extra time and care and really made the carpet look almost new! He exceeded my expectations! And at such a great price. Have always told friends and plan to use again in the future.

Revived a 30 year old light colored carpet! A fantastic job all around, every step of the way. Kelvin replied to emails immediately (at all hours of the day no less), he showed up on time, thoroughly cleaned the carpet exactly as explained. He is also just a good person, great attitude and easy going. He checked in with me a few days later, I mentioned after the carpet dried there was one section that still had some darkness. Since it was so old and it was right at the front door, I said it still looked amazing all things considered but he insisted on coming back to make another pass and he got it out! That's commitment! He also got out some dark oil drip stains - can't even see where they were.
Can't recommend him enough. I have to be honest, when I saw 199/200 reviews were 5 stars, I thought it was too good to be true but seeing is believing.
And that ONE 1 star review?! That reflects on that reviewer - not Kelvin. Just check out the other reviews they've written.

We originally called stanley Steamer to clean our carpet, couch and kitchen chairs as we had used their services in the past. Stanley Steamer sent a young man with a bad attitude so my wife asked him to leave. After receiving a phone call from her, I looked for someone that was responsible and had a good reputation. I actually didn't know who to call. After reading Kelvins reviews on line, We decided to call KG carpet. I have to say, I was a little nervous at first. I knew that if it didnt work out I wouldnt hear the end of it. I called and expected him to call me later in the day. Instead, Kelvin called me 5 minutes after I placed the call to him. He actually made an appointment for the next morning @ 9:45 am because I informed that we needed it done ASAP. lo and behold, he was actually on time, and even called on the way to our home. Amazing! He looked at the items that we wanted cleaned and told us that he could bring them back to their original condition. He then gave us a fair estimate. We said yes, and he began the work immediately. When he finished 3 or so hours later, we couldnt believe it. We were having the carpet cleaned because we wanted to donate it in a clean condition. It came out like brand new. My wife now wants to keep it. The Couch and kitchen chairs are Showroom clean and there is no chemical odor from any of the pieces that were cleaned. Kelvin did an amazing job and labored non-stop to get it done. Aside from the great workmanship, My wife and I both agree that he is probably the most pleasant , honest person that we have ever had the pleasure to work in our home. I needed to hire an upholstery cleaning service for 8 dining room chairs, one of which had a big unidentifiable stain on it. After looking through business reviews on Yelp, I contacted Kelvin and within minutes received a reply, a quote and confirmed appt within the next few days!
He called when he was on his way, arrived ahead of time, assessed the chairs and got to work. Pleasant, professional and thorough. A beautiful job indeed.

Kelvin cleaned my mother's wall to wall carpet and we only have great things to say about him. He moved all of the things that needed to be off the floor, and spent 4 hours on the carpet. My puppy was there for a month, and had a few accidents. The carpets look and smell like there was never a dog in the house. Kelvin is reliable, thorough, and his prices are significantly lower than the larger companies. I highly recommend KG Carpet Cleaner. You won't go wrong!

I highly recommend Kelvin at KG Carpet Cleaning! He cleaned our carpets before we moved into our house in the fall, and then we brought him back to deal with a huge stain in the middle of our hall runner (just a few weeks after moving in, our fully potty trained 3-year-old randomly peed in the middle of the hall and then I made it 10x larger and worse by trying to clean it myself).
I finally called Kelvin and he came over -- more than 2 weeks after the incident at this point, so the stain had nicely settled in. He initially tried something that didn't work, so he came back with another strategy and did some kind of sorcery because now the stain is gone! He's the nicest guy, too. Most impressive was that he followed up with me to see if the stain was better and insisted trying again when I told him it wasn't. Shows so much character.

I highly, highly recommend KG Carpets & Upholstery cleaning. I had 6 area rugs, 1 room of wall to wall carpeting, plus sofa, loveseat, and many chairs cleaned by Kelvin, who is a joy to work with. The work done is impeccable- all items are restored to their original color, which brightens up the house. Extreme care was taken to move furniture and replace to my specifications. The price was very reasonable. Kelvin went above board by showing how to maintain leather furniture. He is honest, personable and just a lovely person.

Kelvin cleaned 4 area rugs and one sectional sofa for me today. I am so pleased with the results. Everything needed a good refresh after 4 years of life with small children and a cat. There were some faint stains on my sofa, but Kelvin got them all out. Everything looks great! He was on time, professional and courteous, and a hard worker, all for a fair price. I have already recommended him to a few neighbors and we will definitely call him again.

I am so glad the thought crossed my mind to seek outside help to manage my accidental oil spill on my sofa this week. In my Google search, I stumbled upon Kelvin’s company and he most definitely came to my sofa’s rescue. He was professional (and yes I have to mention this because it is no longer the customary), personable, and respectful. He saw the challenge and he made my 4 year old sofa look brand new. I have already solicited his estimate for my area rugs, which like my sofa, have never been professionally cleaned. He is also reasonably priced. I had an amazing experience with this couch cleaning company. From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and incredibly thorough. My couch looks brand new — I honestly didn’t think some of those stains would ever come out, especially with two toddlers climbing all over it every day, but they worked magic!
The technician explained everything clearly, treated my home with respect, and took his time making sure every cushion and corner was spotless. The difference is unbelievable — the fabric feels fresher, smells clean, and the whole living room looks brighter.

Kelvin and his brother initially cleaned my stair carpet. My pets had left a stench in the carpet which they took care to eliminate. I just had Kelvin back to clean a chair, 3 sofas and a bench. He did an excellent job and both times his prices were very reasonable.

I am so pleased with the result of Kelvin’s workmanship. He cleaned of my 2-piece sectional sofa, staircase and rug runners, area rug and dining chair cushions. All the water marks and food stains are gone. The rugs look new again, fluffy and bright. Everything looks so clean (IMHO the colors are so much brighter now, is that even possible?!) and smells so fresh. Would definitely recommend. Very happy to be adding a review on here! I worked with Kelvin for the first time today to get my couch cleaned and ready for move in day. I added some before and after pics for context but truthfully, my pets have really done a number on this piece of furniture, now it’s freshly cleaned and pretty much brand new. Best carpet and upholstery cleaning company I have use by far, they cleaned my velvet couch and oriental rug, my rug smells good and looks good, most contractors don't respect your home, but this guy's are clean, wear shoe covers lay out blankets seal my door to keep the cold out while working in the house, I'm in the construction business and I have never seen a contractor prepared like this to perform their task, I highly recommend KG, thrust worthy on time, I'm beyond happy thanks KG I'll definitely use them again.

KG did a great job! Had about 5 rugs and a beat-up WHITE couch that was really stained and he made it look like new again. He was also a team-player, helping me move the rugs to where he could clean best, and he was courteous and kind.

Kelvin cleaned two rugs for me. The rug in the pictures was badly damaged by cat urine. It came back clean and soft and beautiful. He was able to remove the odor. He does excellent work.

On Saturday, Kg Carpet and Upholstery cleaned our off white sofa, 2 chairs and 4 area rugs. Attached is a picture of one rug (before is on the left). Very happy with the results. It all not only looks cleaner, but feels cleaner. Communication was also very good, with texts and phone calls alerting us of the appointment time as well as arrival time on the day. They worked quickly and efficiently. Definitely recommend Kg Carpet and Upholstery.

I made an appointment and he was very accommodating with my schedule he cleaned my sofa love seat and an area rug ,beautiful job. just used him recently. Beside the work he is very professional, he respects your home and me by wearing shoe coverings and a mask. I had a rug that needed to be cleaned off site came back today almost new, he actually took off his shoes and removed the furniture and place rug back on the floor.
